Inspired by a local legend that Princess Senhime, associated with Himeji Castle, cherished her cats, our mascots were born as symbols of good fortune. Like lucky beckoning cats (maneki-neko), they bring happiness and delightful memories to our guests.

Meet “Shiro”

A gentle and graceful white cat girl.
Shiro loves to recommend the best guest rooms and sightseeing spots around Himeji. She adores the aroma that drifts through the hotel lobby and often closes her eyes in bliss. With her warm smile, she welcomes everyone to the hotel.

Meet “Mike”

A lively, food-loving calico boy cat who can be a little clumsy at times.
Mike cheerfully guides guests to the restaurants and is popular for sharing today’s specials and culinary secrets. During photo shoots of the dishes, he can’t resist sneaking into the frame!

“Himeneko” Roll Cake

Inspired by Shiro and Mike’s favorite treats, this roll cake features a soft sponge filled generously with fresh cream and strawberries.
Delicately sweet and elegantly crafted, it even bears little paw prints — a secret touch from the two helpers themselves.
